A photographer's dream
The stunning local Lake Ohau scenery coupled with ever changing weather and light provides photographers with constant inspiration. The Lake Ohau Cottage, (and its garden), is in a unique position because it has views of Lake Ohau and Glen Mary to the north, the Barrier Range to the west and southern Lake Ohau with the Benmore Range to the southeast (kitchen window). Each of these areas reflect the light differently and have continuously changing colours and moods.
